CAST FOR “AN IDEAL HUSBAND” AT THEATRE 29 ANNOUNCED

Co-directors Butch Pelfrey and Tom Highfill announce their casting choices for “An Ideal Husband.” The husband, Robert Chiltern, will be portrayed by Leonard Weber. His wife, Lady Gertrude, by Janet Percy, and his sister Mabel, by Lizzie Schmelling. Ben Bees captured the role of aristocrat Lord Goring. His father will be played by Marv Schmelling. Other cast members include Jasmine Shaffer, Robin Schmelling, Kris Thomas, Cyrus Short, Marcus Highfill, Curtis Mohn, Ken King, Scott Clinkscales and Earl Childs, with Char Childs as the vicious villainess. “An Ideal Husband” by Oscar Wilde will run five consecutive weekends from January 9 through February 7, with Friday and Saturday evening performances at 7 p.m. and two Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. on January 18 and February 1.
