According to Dental Hygienist Charity Daigneault if you want to pursue a career in becoming a Dental Hygienist be prepared to put all your time and energy into school. Dental hygienists typically need an associate’s degree and all states require dental hygienists to be licensed, but the requirements vary by state. It may seem like a lot but you’re only there for two years. Daigneault said the process of becoming a Dental Hygienist will be very difficult, but in the end you will be proud of how much you accomplish and amazed at how much you learn.
