Caltrans will host a public information meeting on the emergency restriping and installation of delineators on the highway in Morongo Valley. The meeting will take place Tuesday, August 20. Caltrans made the changes along a 6.3 mile stretch of State Route 62 in response to a high number of cross-median traffic collisions and fatalities there. Caltrans aims to provide information about the project and hopes to hear from the public on the issue. The meeting takes place in the Covington Park Multipurpose Room from 6 to 8 p.m.
