The Board quickly approved and adopted the budget for the fiscal year 2013-14 leaving a budget surplus of $120,000. The overall expenditures for the Wastewater budget will total just over $3.15 million including funds from grants and the water loan. The Board gave accolades to Assistant General Manager, Frank Luckino, for a job well done when saying his final farewells. The Board also approved negotiating a contract for $56,000 with PR Firm, CV Strategies. Their job will be community outreach helping residents understand the installation timeline for each phase and financial commitment. The discussion of the Wastewater boundary revision for Phase 1 and design, construction, and financing for the project was tabled for the next meeting as Water Resources and Operations Manager Mark Ben was absent due to illness.
