BLOOD DRIVE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT INFORMATION AT CMC TOMORROW

LifeStream will conduct a community blood drive on Wednesday, April 15, at Copper Mountain College on Rotary Way in Joshua Tree from 10 to 3. Donors will receive incentives. In addition, LifeStream now offers free cholesterol screening with every blood donation. Those aged 18 to 44 years may register for Be the Match bone marrow screening free of charge. To make an appointment to donate blood, call 800-TRY-GIVING.

Copper Mountain College will host an informational event Wednesday, April 15, for Sexual Assault Awareness Day. Speakers from the Morongo Basin Sexual Assault Services, Unity Home, and counselors from Marine Corps Community Services and other community resources will be in Room 101 on the college campus from noon to 1 p.m. A bake sale will be held in the morning. Light refreshments will be served.
