BIGHORN-DESERT VIEW WATER AGENCY NAMES LARRY COULOMBE TO BOARD SEAT

Following open, public interviews with each of the four candidates vying for the vacant seat on the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors, former director Larry Coulombe was chosen. Coulombe will take the oath of office sometime today and remain in office through what would have been the end of departing Director Dave Larson’s term. Also at last night’s meeting, attendees learned that Governor Brown yesterday signed the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Modernization Act which offers ratepayers more transparency and accountability. The revisions will eliminate outdated and irrelevant provisions, and reorganize the Act making it easier to understand, and more transparent.
