Last night in Landers, the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors met for a performance evaluation of General Manager Marina West. While that evaluation was in closed session, the public had an opportunity to weigh in on the subject during the open comment period and four members of the public spoke of the general manager’s performance in glowing terms. Several credited the General Manager for her role in turning the Agency around from near financial collapse in 2007 to the healthy fiscal condition it enjoys today.
