AN ASSAULT OVER PARKING AT TWENTYNINE PALMS CASINO CONSTRUCTION SITE

A Joshua Tree man was angry over how someone parked his truck, and so he punched him in the mouth. According to a Sheriff’s report, Allen Kendall, 40, was angry because a man wouldn’t move his truck at the construction site of Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms, and because the man was always laughing at him. So, according to the report, Kendall punched the man in the mouth, loosening three teeth and puncturing his lower lip. The victim went to the dentist to confirm the damage to his teeth, and then reported the incident to the Sheriff’s Department at 3 p.m. Thursday. Deputies arrested Allen Kendall for investigation of assault with serious injuries, booked him into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $100,000.

  • Amazing! The casino isn’t even open and already a fight. I hope this isn’t the start of what to expect in our beautiful little town. I wonder what will happen when someone loses their paycheck and not a parking spot…
