ART RECEPTION FRIDAY AT THE TWENTYNINE PALMS VISITORS CENTER

An opening reception will be held on this Friday, January 16, for “Winter Skies,” the newest Art in Public Places exhibition at the downtown Twentynine Palms Visitor Center. The public is invited to the reception from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. to mingle with the artists and enjoy music and refreshments. Admission is free. The group art exhibition features more than a dozen desert artists who have captured the theme of winter skies in paintings, photography, mixed media, and ceramics. The show will be on display through January, February, and March 2015. The Art in Public Places gallery in the Twentynine Palms Visitor Center and Chamber of Commerce is open seven days a week at the corner of Desert Queen Avenue and the Highway, Twentynine Palms.
