A Yucca Valley man with a warrant for his arrest for possession of methamphetamine, was arrested Thursday morning. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy spotted Mark Hines, 28, riding a bicycle in the 56500 block of Antelope Trail in Yucca Valley shortly after 9 a.m. The deputy recognized Hines and knew he had a warrant for his arrest, and attempted to stop him, but Hines fled. The deputy stopped Hines near Palm Avenue and Antelope Trail where he was arrested for investigation of resisting arrest. Mark Hines was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $60,000.
