ANOTHER CONEX BOX STOLEN IN JOSHUA TREE

Just a month after a Conex storage box was stolen in Joshua Tree, a second Conex box was also stolen in Joshua Tree. According to a Sheriff’s report, the owner of a 10-foot long shipping container with a roll-up door, in the 600 block of Sunfair Road, called the Sheriff’s Department about 10:20 Wednesday to report the container had been stolen. The door to the vacation cabin at the site had also been kicked in. After an investigation, deputies believe the stolen container is related to an earlier theft of a Conex box that had been reported stolen December 18 from the 60300 block of Moonlight Mesa in Joshua Tree.
