ANOTHER CONEX BOX STOLEN IN JOSHUA TREE

Three Conex storage containers have been stolen in Joshua Tree since mid-December. On Tuesday, the owner of a home in the 62100 block of Two Mile Road called deputies about 4:10 p.m. to report a burglary. While surveying the damage to the home and yard, which included a ransacked home, chain link fencing that had been removed and torn down, the owner noticed that her 40-foot Conex storage container at the back of her property was missing. Conex boxes have also been stolen from the 600 block of Sunfair Road January 20, and December 18 from the 60300 block of Moonlight Mesa Road. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
