ACCUSED YUCCA VALLEY HOME DEPOT MURDERER REFUSES TO GO TO COURT

The Yucca Valley man accused of killing a man in an RV in the Home Depot parking lot in August refused to leave the jail for a court appearance Friday. James Webb, 34, who is being held at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, was due in court Friday for a pre-trial hearing. However, court records indicate that Webb refused to come to the Joshua Tree courthouse for his hearing. Judge Rodney Cortez continued the hearing to Wednesday, January 14, and said that deputies may use force as needed to ensure that Webb attends his next hearing. Webb is accused of stabbing 77-year-old John Rosin inside his RV parked in the Home Depot parking lot August 26.
