A ONE-NIGHT ONLY FLAMENCO PERFORMANCE AT THEATRE 29 MAY 10

Seattle-based flamenco dancer Savannah Fuentes brings her latest show to Theater 29 for a one-night-only special performance. Here’s reporter Rebecca Havely with more details…

On May 10, only at 8 p.m., the performance Como El Viento Flamenco En Vivo will grace the stage at Theater 29 in Twentynine Palms. It is one of the 13 stops on a tour by flamenco dancer and artistic director Savannah Fuentes. The show includes dance, song and guitar music—the three main components of the Flamenco genre. Joining Fuentes are Bulgarian guitarist Bobby de Sofia and internationally recognized Spanish Romani cantour Jesus Montoya of Seville. Fuentes has studied with many of today’s most distinguished dancers in both Seattle and in Spain and continues to develop her technique and understanding of the complex form known as flamenco as her troupe tours the Western United States.

Tickets to the Flamenco production are $23 for adults; $12 for students; $7 for kids. VIP reserved seating at $35 per ticket is also available at brownpapertickets.com
