3-YEAR-OLD BOY FALLS UNDER TRUCK IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

A 3-year-old boy was clipped by a pick-up truck in Twentynine Palms Monday evening. According to authorities, the toddler was riding his scooter in the road inside a trailer park in the 71600 block of 29 Palms Highway about 6 p.m. The boy’s grandfather was leaving the location in his truck when the boy rode his scooter into the path of the truck. The boy fell over and the truck’s tires ran over the boy’s shoulder and arm. The child suffered minor to moderate injuries and was taken to Loma Linda Medical Center.
