24 LOCAL CANDIDATES TO BE AT POLITICAL POP-UP TOMORROW

Z107.7 Radio and the Sportsman’s Club are sponsoring a non-partisan office political pop-up event Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m.; 24 local candidates have now confirmed they will be in attendance. The free event is designed to give residents a chance to talk with the candidates prior to the November 4 general election. All candidates are welcome to bring campaign materials and meet and greet with Morongo Basin voters at the Joshua Tree Sportsman Club on Sunburst. There is no charge for candidates or attendees. Candidates who have confirmed so far are:

Yucca Valley Town Council: Bob Leone, Ron Cohen, Charles Mc Henry, Susan Simmons, Rick Dennison and Lori Herbel. (Jeff Drozd sent regrets as he had another commitment)
Twentynine Palms City Council: Dan Mintz, Jim Harris, Adam Lunn, Bill Easter, John Cole and MacArthur Wright
Hi-Desert Water District: Dan Munsey, Margo Sturges and Gina Orban
School Board: Doris Lawless, Chris Proudfoot, Hillary Slotta, Gary Horn, and Dr. Cindy MacVay.
Joshua Basin Water District: Vic Fuller, Rebecca Unger, and Bob Johnson
Hi-Desert Medical Center: Marge Doyle
