Laura Peterson Volz It sure does seem like a major inconvenience at best to have to go blocks out of your way to turn and double back to the business of your choice. Plus, rather than widen the street to accommodate increased traffic, they're taking away a lane? Not well thought out, I'd say.

Jos Burrell Place landscaped median strips. Rip them up. Replace them. How about going a mile out of your way to enter your own neighborhood? Plus, that added traffic funneled through that single entrance. Poop aside, as one state traffic engineer offered when discussing HOV lanes "we try to discourage driving."
